Our Sunday School program engages students to learn about their Reformed heritage, explore the bible, and adopt core Christian values of love, peace, joy, and hope.

Kingdom Kids  Ages 2-3
The emphasis in the Kingdom Kids room is introducing the children to Bible stories while they are learning to play together and have fun. Children will be read a short bible story using the God Loves Me Telling the Story to Twos and Threes curriculum.  After the story, a snack is shared. Simple crafts and free-play time round out their time together.

Faithful Friends:  Ages 3-5
The emphasis in the Faithful Friends classroom is learning through a variety of ways. This year, the Faithful Friends will be using the Walk with Me curriculum which takes the children through the Bible stories in a sequential manner.  This curriculum is designed to help children grow their faith, celebrate their differences and make friends in an active and joyful way.  Each week the children will have a take home card to bring with them that retells the story and provides families with thoughts on how to encourage their child's faith building throughout the week.

Valley Tours-- Kindergarten to 5th grade
The emphasis in each Valley Tours classroom is learning through exploration as we utilize the "workshop rotation model" of multi-intelligence learning.  The Cornerstones curriculum provides the basis for helping to bring the Bible stories to life.  A bible story may be read, experienced, or dramatized. Children are encouraged to ask questions and explore answers to their questions and learn that sometimes, only God has the answer! Responses to the story come through a variety of activities such as art, drama, cooking, music, computer, video, and large muscle movement.  Children are organized by grade level, K-1, 2-3 and 4-5 grades.  A typical unit consists of 4 weeks where children engage the Bible story in three different ways and come together on the 4th Sunday to share as a community and participate in music.
