Groups for All

Valley Book Club
• Meets on rotating days during the last week of the month
• Meets at 7:00 pm in the library
• Participants suggest books to read and the group reaches consensus
• Members volunteer to lead discussion and bring treats
• Membership open to everyone
• Attend occasionally or every meeting
• See the current schedule and the list of books read to-date

Dinner for 7 (or 8)
• Random groups of couples and/or singles of 7-8
• Groups formed by the Fellowship Team from list of those who sign up
• New groups formed annually
• Each group decides their own rules about how often to meet and menus
   - many groups meet monthly, some quarterly, some once at each house
   - usually the host provides the main course, rest of the meal is potluck
   - sometimes the host decides to do the whole meal
   - some groups have met in restaurants
• Contact the Fellowship Team Chair, Lisa Tarbell for information about the
   - formation of the next set of new groups

Bridge Club/Card Fellowship
• Meet on the first, third and fifth Thursday of each month at noon
• Participants bring a bag lunch and then play until 2:30-3:00
• play only bridge, but willing to play other card games if there is interest
• Members bring treats and birthdays are celebrated
• 50¢ fee per participant is collected each session. Excess funds donated to local
• Charities, such as Families Moving Forward and PRISM.
• All skill levels are welcome

Prayer Web
• Group of Valley members who pledge to pray daily for concerns of congregation     members and friends
• Use a telephone/e-mail tree to communicate new prayer requests
